Final Post: One Year Later…

Image result for one year later

This exact day one year ago, many of you were thinking of all the things you wanted different in the upcoming year…  For some of you, you wanted to lose weight, gain financially stability, get promoted, become more active in your community, church, and social organizations…  Some of you were in relationships, so you vowed to become a better spouse/partner, be more attentive, to listen with your heart and not your ears…  Those of you who were single, you set out on a mission to change your relationship status by this day…  Depending on who and where you were in your life determined the things you wanted to see different in 2016… So we’re here at December 31, 2016 and for some of you, your life feels no different than December 31, 2015; 2014; 2013; 2012; and so on…

One year later you’re still over weight, financially broke, still working the same dead end job, and the only time you were active in anything was the first month of the year…  Those who vowed to become a better spouse/partner, your marriage/relationship is at a breaking point…You’re unhappy, they’re unhappy and for some of you, you’re finding happiness outside of your relationship…  Those of you who hoped for love this year…  you’ve dated, slept around, settled, but this very day you have nothing to show for it…  December 31, 2015 you wanted December 31, 2016 to be different, but unfortunately you’re right back in the same place you were in exactly one year ago…

So where am I going with this?  You ask…  Well if you want to see things change in your life, you don’t have to wait for a New Year or January 1st to pursue change…  Each morning you wake up is opportunity for your life to be different, better, greater, or changed…  But did you know, in order for anything to change in your life, YOUR MIND MUST CHANGE FIRST….  You must change how you see your past, present, and your future…  You have to change how you see what appear to be weaknesses in your life…  You have to change how you see what appear to be limitations in your life…  Your whole year can change right now at this very moment if you would focus on everything you’ve gained, opposed to what it appears you didn’t achieve or what you loss…  What I know for sure is…  The reason you feel you’re in the exact place you were in one year ago is because your thinking hasn’t changed from the place it was in  one year ago…
