If I Had A Son I Would Tell Him…

As stated on Friday, I think it’s only natural for those of you who aren’t parents to think about what your life would be like if you were…  How your everyday life would be different and how you would have to juggle between your schedule and the busy schedule of your children…  Currently, I don’t have any children but I wanted to share with you a few things I would tell my son if I did…

You Are Enough:  Contrary to belief, there are many men struggling with their identity…  They’re questioning exactly who they are and what they bring to the table all because they’re seeking to meet the expectations of the world.   Expectations set by people they’ve never met and by others who are clueless to what it really takes to be a man.  When life turns out differently than planned they feel inadequate, so they seek ways of validating their manhood.  Some choose to validate it by having sex with as many women as they possibly can; by man handling women; by purchasing extravagant and lavish cars and homes, and then there are those who chooses to prove their worth by impregnating women with multiple kids in which many of them fail to provide for after their arrival….  If I had a son I would tell him “Live by your own rules, you have nothing to prove…  The size of your penis, how many children you have, how many women you’ve slept with, nor does the amount of money you have in the bank proves your manhood…  YOU ARE MORE THAN ENOUGH just the way you are…”

Let It Roll:  So many men are in prison because of “one second”…  There are many women bruised physically and emotionally forever because of “one second”…  There are many abandoned children all because of “one second”…  And there are many men who are six feet under because (Click “HERE” to read more)
