Do We Even Need Them???

“Don’t tell me a damn thing about the “White Man”, because most times it’s the “Black Man” with the key to the chains in his pocket…”  John Patrick Adams

Now today’s blog is going to ruffle some of your feathers, but I don’t give a damn, it’s my site…  If you’re sensitive, you may want to stop reading right about (5,4,3,2,1) NOW… I normally don’t write about “race” because it’s not my platform, but there’s something I have to get off my chest…

The “White Man” gets blamed for more ish than President Obama.  He’s the reason many of you are still working in your current position.  The reason you didn’t get the loan for the house, car, etc.  The reason you can’t make ends meet.  The reason your organization can’t get funding, and the list continues to grow…  But sadly to say, many of you reading this post are in the position to help someone else, but you don’t…  “They don’t have a degree”, “lack experience”, “over qualified”, “didn’t fill out the proper paper work”, and “no credit history” are the reasons you use as to why you didn’t help, but buried in the back of your mind is the truth… “They’re ghetto”, “too black”, “ignorant”, “I’m not going to risk tarnishing my name for them”.  And then there are those of you who want to be the “Shining Star”, there’s no media coverage and to be quite frank, there’s nothing in it for you.  And all of these thoughts lurk in the mind of an African American…

Do we even need the “white man” to keep us down when the “black man/woman” does such a great job (Click “HERE” to read more)
