It’s been said that a picture is worth 1,000 words. From Polaroid to Twit Pics to Instagram and digitally enhanced photography, there are virtually no limits now when it comes to picture taking. I’ve seen some pictures go by lately though and have held my tongue long enough. So, today instead of revealing WTH moments in news, let’s talk about WTH moments in photos. Here’s a list of 5 things that should never be present in social media pictures. Feel free to comment or add your own.
The Writings On The Wall (Mirror)
Well, maybe not but it’s definitely on the mirror. One or two water spots are acceptable. We get it. Sometimes you can’t help the condition of a public mirror you take a picture in front of. But you can help mirrors that are just downright filthy…..in your own home. A little Windex will ensure you’re the focus of your next #turnup pic, instead of your dirty mirror.
Sock, Shirts, Pants and Skirts
This one ties in a little bit to the first point, but nothing is worse than trying to look sexy (and at times possibly living up to the hype) with a basket of clothes in the background or clothes everywhere in the background. You may be an independent chick or a boss, but all those clothes in the background indicates you’re a mess instead. A few seconds to sweep the debri out of the camera view is critical to a flawless pic.
