“Them Today, You Tomorrow…”

I love volunteering, it makes me feel really good to do something that can help someone else. So a couple of months ago I decided to approach my boss to ask if we as a company could participate in the Susan G. Komen Race For The Cure. For those who may not know, Susan G. Komen is a foundation for breast cancer awareness. The foundation raises money to fund research and assist those who are financially challenged get tested and get the medical assistance they other wise couldn’t afford. So you would think people would jump at the chance to be apart of such a worthy cause and help someone in need. The only requirement made by my boss is we had to do our part by raising money. Seems easy, huh? WRONG…
